Welcome to this foray into a topsy turvy world where rubbish is gold and junk can be turned into jewels. This blog is all about the growing number of witty and inventive (not to mention desirable) handcrafted items made using recycled, vintage and ethically sourced materials. How could you possibly not love them all back?

You'll find recycled gift ideas aplenty but you'll also find I am particularly interested in the creative talents on the scene; the not-quite-graduated students or just the undiscovered who I think are great names in the making.

To ring the changes, I also write in the Love It Back blog about issues to do with the world of recycling and markets and events: from time to time I'll also host how to ... do it yourself!.  

Along the way, I hope to buy a few lovely recycled things for myself. But keep stumm about that will you? Because officially, this is a foray, not a shopping trip!
